Jeffrey P. Lendrum, the founder of the firm, has devoted the past 33 years representing individuals and businesses in a wide variety of class and private attorney general lawsuits involving claims of investment loss recovery, financial fraud, financial advisor malpractice, loan fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, securities fraud, investment fraud, stockbroker malpractice, insurance agent malpractice, wage theft, wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, commission disputes and real estate fraud.

Experience

Throughout his 33 year career, Mr. Lendrum has carefully charted a career that would hone his skills to develop particular expertise in sophisticated financial fraud litigation and trial practice to better serve his clients.

Before founding Lendrum Law Firm, APC in 2000, Mr. Lendrum worked for a United States District Court Judge, served as a trial attorney for the San Diego District Attorneys’ Office, and was an equity partner with the San Diego office of Post Kirby Noonan & Sweat LLP where he was principally involved in the firm’s securities litigation and class action practice.

Mr. Lendrum also recognized that in order to obtain the best results possible for his clients, he had to be able to “walk in the shoes” of his opposing attorneys. To gain this invaluable insight, he spent years defending numerous securities broker-dealers and billion-dollar companies. Mr. Lendrum’s services have been sought out by national product manufacturers and more than a dozen tobacco manufacturers in more than 60 class, private attorney general and individual actions filed throughout central and southern California.

By having extensive experience on “both sides of the table”, Mr. Lendrum is uniquely positioned to navigate the complexities of litigation and to obtain the best possible results for his clients.

In 2006, Mr. Lendrum obtained a finding by a United States District Court Judge that an NASD arbitration panel committed “manifest disregard of the law” by not awarding Mr. Lendrum’s clients the full extent of their investment losses. This historical decision received national recognition and was the subject of multiple articles in the New York Times.

Mr. Lendrum’s cases have frequently been the subject of feature stories by The New York Times, San Diego Union Tribune, San Diego Daily Transcript, Fox News and KUSI News.
